The mission of this organization is to provide baby essentials to families in financial need in the Charlotte area, helping them get a positive start with their baby. Our team spent the day organizing, folding, and bundling clothing that would end up in a starter kit basket.
QDS sponsored an event with Levine Hospital and Charlotte Radiology in late September. Our sponsorship gave 40 mammograms to low-income Charlotte women through the Charlotte Radiology program. For the entire month of October, the employees of QDS wore pink shirts to show the support behind the disease that hits too close to home. Additional shirts were sold to raise additional funds for Charlotte Radiology.
‘We’re on a mission to thank every American who serves.’ During our annual company meeting, we packed 300 care kits for active military overseas. The kits consisted of hot hands, nail clippers, baby powder, grooming kits, and thank you letters. With a strong veteran base right here within our QDS community, serving those who serve is important to us.
Our office team put together 35 Easter baskets for the children who would spend Easter at the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte.
Our Georgia team put together Easter baskets for kids who are in a local foster system.
One of our employees’ father is a Pastor of a Virginia church. There was a need for Easter baskets for their Sunday school children as many of the children would not have had an Easter basket.
17 people out of 10,000 are experiencing homelessness in America right this very moment. Our initiative was to put together homeless care bags of snacks, toiletries, and inspirational notes. The totes were dispersed across our 11 state footprint and each of our employees handed out the bags in their own communities.
We sponsored 3 schools for back to school. Our impact – 2600 kids & 180 teachers. We donated all of the typical supplies needed in a classroom and provided an entire school with backpacks for the year.
Our team sponsored a food truck for our local officers who protect our business neighborhood and surrounding areas. It was a great opportunity to thank the men and women who sacrifice daily for our safety.
QDS' Team Lionheart partnered with Project Dignity & Safe Alliance by packing duffel bags of essentials for women who have left abusive situations. Safe Alliance helps these victims get back on their feet by providing mentorship, shelter, and supplies.
A shelter close to home that provides both food and shelter to those of the Union County area that are without. The shelter serves over 56,000 people annually.
During the holiday season, Team Lionheart partnered up with a local church to assemble boxes of goodies for children.
Team Lionheart showed its appreciation for all US military by building 'battalion buddies' for children of deployed family members. Our team has the utmost respect for those who serve, as we have many veterans on our team today!
QDS played in a mud volleyball tournament in support of the Charlotte area Habitat for Humanity and ended up in 3rd place out of 44. The support of the sponsors for the day ended up raising 30k!
